MEHMET RESAT AYSU
 
Mehmet Resat Aysu was born in Tekirdag in 1910, the fifth child out of six siblings.  In 1947, he played second and first violin in the City Orchestra founded by Madam Amati.  From 1945-1948, he taught at the Izmir Musical Society, and began playing violin at Izmir Radio in 1949.  He composed around three hundred pieces in various forms.
