Alaaddin Yavasça was born on March 1, 1926, in Kilis, to his mother Enver Hanim, and his father Haci Efendi. He worked as a medical doctor for many years. Alaaddin Yavasça composed over four hundred fifty works, including religious and secular, instrumental and vocal pieces. His broad range of compositions ranged from Ayin-i Serifs to children's songs.
