Aristakes Hisarlıyan

(1856-1937)

Armenian composer and songwriter. He was born and died in Balat, Istanbul and was one of the students of Aristakes Ohannesyan Şalcıyan. He started his career as a book seller in 1877. In 1896, he composed his works.
